妖精の歌 Fairy Song ：キーツの詩の翻訳

　　涙するなかれ！おお涙するなかれ！
　　散った花はまた咲くのだから

　　地中には新しい命が芽吹くのだから
　　目をぬぐえ！おお目をぬぐえ！
　　わたしは天に召されて

「妖精の歌」と題するこの詩は、キーツの絶唱の一つである。やはりファニー・ブローンに捧げられたものと思われる。

この詩の中でキーツは、死んで天使になった自分が、生き残って自分を悲しんでいる人に呼びかけているのだととれる。あるいは、自分の死を予感して嘆き悲しむキーツ自身に、天使が呼びかけているのだともとれる。
